R5461 series of Mica Tape for Fire-resistant Cables consist of phlogopite mica paper(or synthetic mica paper)impregnated with a special silicone resin and a fiber cloth (or Polyethylene film) as supporting agent.These tapes have great flexibility and high tensile strength,and their combined characteristic mean they can be used to create inorganic,fire-resistant insulation for eletrical cables.

TYPES:According to mica papers and support agent,R-5461 mica tape has following different types.

1.R-5461-P-GS: Single side reinforce phlogopite mica tape with glass fiber cloth.

2.R-5461-P-GD:Double side reinforce phlogopite mica tape with glass fiber cloth.

3.R-5461-P-GFD: Double side reinforce phlogopite mica tape with glass fiber cloth and film.

4.R-5461-P-FS: Single side reinforce phlogopite mica tape with film.

5.R-5461-S-GS: Single side reinforce synthetic mica tape with glass fiber cloth.

6.R-5461-S-GD: Double side reinforce synthetic mica tape with glass fiber cloth.

7.R-5461-S-GFD:Double side reinforce sythetic mica tape with glass fiber cloth and film.

8.R-5461-S-FD:Single side reinforce synthetic mica tape with film.

9.R-5461-P-R:Phlogopite mica roll.

Characteristics

1)       Resist extreme thermal stresses and give outstanding fire protection. R-5461-P is made from phlogopite mica paper,retain insulation properties at 800R-5461-S is made from synthetic mica paper ,retain insulation properties at 1000.

2)       Incombusible ,asbestos free and do not create toxic gasses;

3)       Excellent tensile strength and shock resitance.
